My lifelong friend (since age 4) and 40+ yr ski companion James Marienthal wrote the words to this a few years ago at the Opus Hut when we, in our 60s, were really starting to feel the physical uphill/downhill equation shifting. But somehow, despite our age and the wear and tear, we’ve always inspired each other to just take a look what’s over the next rise, or to start up for a little tour and then….well, we just kind of keep going and the next thing you know we’re skinning up at the bottom again for One More Run.
